Boxing: Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall

The Cauldron at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland, UK is the setting this Saturday night when 18-fight undefeated Scottish hero Josh Taylor (18-0-0, 13 KOs) makes the first defense of his WBC, WBA "Super", IBF, WBO and Ring Magazine super lightweight titles against fellow undefeated mandatory challenger Jack Catterall (26-0-0, 13 KOs). 

This fight was supposed to take place in late 2021 but champion Josh Taylor suffered a knee injury in training and the fight had to be postponed at the time as a result but will now go ahead with no further delays. 

Josh Taylor is a 31-year-old Scottish athlete who is currently the undisputed ultra-lightweight champion.  His undefeated record is 18 wins, 13 of which are by knockout.  His last fight happened with José Carlos Ramírez

While Jack Catterall is British with 28 years, 10 of them are a professional.  He maintained an undefeated record with 26 wins, 13 KO wins.  From 2015 to 2018, he was crowned the WBO intercontinental lightweight champion.

The fight is scheduled for this Saturday, January 26 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.  They face 12 rounds for the undisputed ultralight title.  This makes it the most attractive event of the weekend.
