PremierLeague: Watford vs Aston Villa

After just one season down in the Championship, Watford immediately found a way to return to the Premier League. In the opening match of the new season, coach Xisco's teachers and students will welcome Aston Villa at Vicarage Road. Although underrated than the opponent, but with the advantage of the field and great determination after promotion, believe that Watford will cause a lot of discomfort with the away team Aston Villa.

Watford vs Aston Villa

Before going down to play in the Championship last season, Watford was highly appreciated in the Premier League. Keeping most of the stars after relegation helped Watford immediately have a promotion ticket back to the most prestigious arena in the foggy country. Last season they finished in 2nd place in the Championship after bringing back 91 points through 46 rounds. In general, Watford is not too difficult to get tickets back to the Premier League, because throughout the season this team has always maintained stability. To prepare for the goal of relegation, Watford have recruited former Tottenham left-back Danny Rose and former Everton striker Joshua King.

These are all contracts to join the club in the form of CNTD. Thus Watford has just added quality rookies, and at the same time did not push the team into a difficult financial situation. Besides, Watford possessed stable explosives in attack last season with Ismaila Sarr having 13 goals and Joao Pedro with 9 goals. However Watford have played 3 friendlies before the new season and so far and are yet to get a win. Their last friendly against Crystal Palace ended in a 1-3 defeat and veteran striker Troy Deeney scored the only goal for the Hornets.

Finishing in 11th place last season after bringing back 55 points through 38 rounds, in general Aston Villa had a relatively successful tournament. In fact, the away team can even bring better results if it doesn't drop in the second leg. Similar to Watford, Aston Villa also has a lot to look forward to in the Premier League this season. Although he has just lost the brightest star in the attack, Jack Grealish, to Man City. However, collecting a huge amount of money helps Aston Villa to be more stable financially, thereby recruiting more rookies to increase the thickness of the squad.

Remember, Aston Villa have brought in very quality players like Emiliano Buendia and Leon Bailey, Danny Ings, Ashley Young, along with the potential loan of young midfielder Tuanzebe from Man Utd. This summer Aston Villa has 4 friendly matches and brought 3 wins and 1 defeat. In their most recent clash, they had a 3-1 win over Salernitana with goals from Danny Ings, Anwar El Ghazi and Ashley Young. With the rookies constantly making their mark, it is clear that Aston Villa is showing how they are on the right track to enter the new season. The biggest worry for Aston Villa is that they only won 1 but lost 3 after the last 5 encounters with Watford.
