PremierLeague: Burnley vs Leeds Utd




The pressure of the relegation battle is over and Burnley has the right to enjoy a break as they have begun early preparations for the new season. Coach Sean Dyche's teachers and students will welcome Leeds, the only team left among the three promoted names at the beginning of the season. With an extremely relaxed mentality from both teams, the upcoming competition promises to be extremely worth watching.

Burnley vs Leeds




Burnley – Premier League


During most of the time in the first leg of the Premier League this season, Burnley struggled in the group holding the red light. However, with his bravery and experience, Sean Dyche's teachers and students had an extremely impressive makeover in the second leg. Admittedly, this has not been a steady season for Burnley and they have reason to be glad to have survived. Burnley's recent matches have not had the best results, specifically they have only won 3 of the last 12 matches.

However, in the last 7 matches, Burnley striker Chris Wood has scored 7 goals. This will be the fulcrum for Burnley towards the reception of Leeds. The 2-0 victory over Fulham in the match last weekend ensured the relegation place for the London team and was the second clean sheet in the last 10 matches. They have lost the last 4/6 matches and at home Burnley did not win in 8 matches, of which they lost 3 and drew 5. In 17 home matches in the Premier League, Burnley only had 4 wins.

Leeds – Premier League


While the fate of two other rookies, West Brom and Fulham, were arranged with the relegation ticket. At this point, Leeds can rest assured with the ranking that they have obtained. After 35 rounds, the students of coach Marco Bielsa won 15 draws 5 and lost 15 matches. They are holding 50 points and 10th place in the Premier League table. Last weekend Leeds returned to a winning trajectory after a 3-1 victory over Tottenham, a result that helped them end a 3-match winless streak.

However, Leeds is aiming for this match with only 1 clean sheet in the last 7 matches. There are 3/4 recent matches where they did not keep a clean sheet. However, in the last 6 away matches, they have lost 4 and won only 2. None of the last 9 away matches that Leeds kept a clean sheet. The first leg match Leeds got a 1-0 victory when welcoming Burnley at home. However, the previous 5 encounters, Leeds were unbeaten when drawing 2 and losing 3 to Leeds.
